EMDR THERAPY IN OHIO FOR

Women. Moms. Life.

Maybe you're in the thick of postpartum and nothing feels like you thought it would. Maybe infertility has taken up more space in your life than you ever wanted it to. Maybe grief, trauma, or a life that's changed too fast has left you feeling like you're just getting through the days instead of living them.

You don't need another person telling you to "just relax" or "give it time." You need real support — from someone who understands what you're carrying and can help you actually move through it, not just talk around it.

You're allowed to want your life back. You're allowed to ask for help that works fast, and works deep. You’re in the right place.

What is EMDR therapy?

LET'S REPROCESS IT!

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps your brain fully process distressing memories that still feel "stuck" — the kind that show up as anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or reactions that feel bigger than the moment calls for. Using guided eye movements or bilateral tapping, EMDR helps those memories settle into the past, so they stop carrying the same emotional weight and become something that happened, not something you're still living through.

Working in an intensive format — extended, uninterrupted sessions rather than once a week — allows this processing to unfold naturally, without stopping right as things open up. Many people move through healing more fully and more quickly than they would in traditional weekly therapy.

WHO ARE THESE EMDR INTENSIVES FOR?
Mom with hands on pregnant belly

01.

POSTPARTUM

Your birth didn't go the way you expected, and parts of it still replay in your mind when you least expect it. You're running on empty because you put everyone else first and can't remember the last time you asked what you needed. And some days, unwanted thoughts show up out of nowhere — scary, sudden, and hard to admit out loud — even though you love your baby completely.

INFERTILITY

Every month brings the same cycle of hope and heartbreak, and it's starting to wear you down in ways you didn't expect. You smile through baby showers and pregnancy announcements while quietly falling apart inside, and you're exhausted from holding it together for everyone else. You're not sure who you are outside of this struggle anymore, and you're ready to feel like more than just "trying."

WOMEN

Something happened — maybe years ago, maybe more recently — and even though it's "over," your body hasn't gotten the memo. A certain tone of voice, a specific place, a particular kind of conflict can still send you straight back into fight-or-flight, even when you know you're safe. You're tired of feeling hijacked by your own nervous system and ready to finally put the past where it belongs — behind you.

I'm Erin

HELLO

I'm a licensed therapist specializing in EMDR intensives for women navigating infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the major life transitions that come with them. Instead of years of weekly sessions, EMDR intensives offer concentrated, focused work — so you can process what's weighing on you and start feeling like yourself again, faster.

Weekly therapy can circle the same pain for years without real relief — not for lack of effort, but because the format isn't built for how trauma actually resolves. Intensives let us go deep in a condensed window and build real momentum. It's the most meaningful work I get to do, and why I've made it the center of my practice.
